THIS WEEK'S PROGRAMS
Monday, June 12, 2006: Topic : "12 Things The Negro Must Do For Himself"

Among her many talents and contributions, Nanny Helen Burroughs (1883 - 1961), was an activist, an educator, and an accomplished writer and editor. In the early 1900's she wrote a brief paper entitled "12 Things The Negro Must Do For Himself." PLEASE take a moment to view the list of "12 Things..." Select "VIEWER FEEDBACK" from the Project 2019 Web site main menu or click on the following link : Project 2019 Viewer Feedback. Keeping in mind that this was written in the early 1900's, I suspect that your reaction will still be the same as mine; "I could not have said it any better myself." And your questions will be, "so why the hell haven't we done anything about it yet...?"
